The Free State Project is solely an agreement among 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty, and property.
Individual FSP participants work on many fronts. Some use the political system to work for reductions in taxation and regulation, reforms at all levels of government to expand individual rights and free markets, and a restoration of constitutional federalism. Others choose to work outside the system, using civil disobedience as a way to shine the light on the force that is the state. Others still bring or start businesses, or work in the agora. Whichever the many paths to liberty these individuals take, FSP movers lead by example. In New Hampshire, we are building the beacon of liberty for the rest of the world to emulate.
