Planning our Retirement Move to NH

My wife and I are in the initial stages of moving to NH. We're presently focused on looking for land in Grafton for a number of reasons. Can any of you give us some info regarding the town ? We've been living in Vermont for 24 years and want to live where we have much more control of our lives. NH is that place from where we are. Thanks
