Brand spanking new here

So, this is day one with FSP and we'll see how this blog thing goes.  I was introduced to FSP from my wife (Nona) who found it on facebook and forwarded the link to me.  I did a lot of reading on the website and looked at jobs and housing in NH.  Nona and I didn't find much in our lines of work, but there is plenty of time for that.  I mean, this is day 1 for us, right?  We did like what we saw, the freedoms from governmental oppression and taxation.  It's about as close to a perfect fit as I think is out there.  I'm not a big fan of people prancing about naked and smoking pot, but mostly if they aren't doing it in my house or causing me personal or financial harm then I'm unconcerned.

Anyway, I'm rambling now.  Our plan is first and foremost to get debt free.  Once we get that accomplished it will make moving so much easier to do.  Of course there is still the whole job thing, but we'll work that out when the time comes.  Basically, we're creating a 5 year plan and see what happens.  We'll take a visit up there at least once before making the move.

I am open to suggestions, advice and assistance from anyone willing or knowledgeable.  I'm proud, but humble if you know what I mean.

Lastly, a morsel about me.  I'm a conservative, have been my whole life and have not changed my conservative ideals.  Although I've been steadfast in my beliefs, I find that I'm not really a Republican anymore and think I fall into the libertarian category these days.  Nona and I currently live in Washington State (disgusting political culture) we have no children, a dog and a cat.
