The waiting... I hate the waiting. The ponderous ticking of the clock. How it seems to slow down with each empty second. The gravid moments, heavy with promises of future joy, pass empty and hollow. But we must wait. The vacant present seems interminable, made unbearable by the harbinger of things not yet ready. Worse than that, the realization that others will be receiving the resplendent item before the rest of us. Knowing that others will be able to bask in the shining glow of joy and happiness before me only makes the present more otiose and worthless. But, ah, the future, a silver lining to the current dark time. A future filled with real riches, where the gossamer promises and flimsy assurances of yesterday are replaced with hard-forged truth and metal-cast bonds. A shimmering future of certainty and brilliance, where you hold not some paper promise of value, but a value in and of itself. But for now we wait, silently profaning those "donors" who will have first option at the object of our desire. They, the participants of the so-called "money-bomb" will have first opportunity to rub their hands on the object of our desire. They, who give away the soiled linen of fractious oaths, will be the early revelers of that gleaming trophy, that sparkling, shiny disc of assurance, THE ARGENT PORC. Alas, the store page must wait to offer this wondrous item, as donors to the FSP Money-Bomb will have first dibbs on the new silver porcupine disc. Don't dare call it a coin. If you don't like disc, you could go with round, flan, discoid, medallion, or how about AgPorc (as apposed to the AuPorc which we will hopefully have in the not too distant future. Darn, more waiting.) So for now we wait, hopefully, expectantly, longingly. Our hands slightly trembling, our eyes filling with hope as we wait, as we wait.
While we're waiting, check out all the other great items in the store. We have a new shipment of bookmarks - thanks Jon.
The Free State Project is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people's rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish them for activities that interfere with no one else. freestateproject.org

The Free State Project (FSP) is an effort to recruit 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty and property. The work of creating and sustaining such a society in New Hampshire is the job of residents, including project participants, not the Free State Project itself.
The FSP does not endorse any specific changes to government or strategies to achieve them. The FSP does not take positions on issues, candidates, legislation, places to move within New Hampshire, tactics or methods of action. The one stipulation the FSP does make is that people who promote violence, racial hatred, or bigotry are not welcome.
Reporting by the FSP on participant activity or NH events on the website, in the newsletter, or in any other place does not represent support or endorsement and may not portray the diversity of opinions and activities that exists among participants.
