NH Out of Young Girls' Business!

In response to one of the most intrusive bills to come through General Court, Rep. Majorie Smith wrote this short-but-sweet opinion piece. Seems the legislature wants to play parent for young women under 18 who seek an abortion but do not have a parent/guardian to accompany them. Is this state somehow secretly pro-life? Nothing says good governance like sending a bureaucrat to counsel a girl through a very personal and grueling ordeal. I can just see it now: "If 15 years behind a window in Concord has taught me anything, dear, it's that you just have to move on to the next window."
