Moving to NH in 2010
I signed up for FSP before the balloting process began. At the time I lived in Auburn, Alabama, where I attended Auburn Univesity and worked for the Mises Institute. Although I am a Rothbardian an-cap, I also engaged in political troublemaking with the Libertarian Party of Alabama as a two-time candidate and long-time Executive Committee member. I moved to Boston in January 2007, and after living in Allston and Cambridge I'm now in East Boston. I'm getting married in July and will be returning to Suffolk Law for my 3L year in August.
My bride-to-be is also a libertarian, and despite being a southern girl she has agreed to brave the New Hampshire winters with me after I complete law school. She currently works full-time at Emerson College, where she earned an M.A. in Publishing. She will probably be commuting to Boston for a while after we move, so our Granite State home will have to be in Southern NH.
I plan to practice criminal law in New Hampshire after I finish my J.D. next May and take the bar exam next summer. I am actively working to establish a list of possible employers there, including public defender offices, legal aid organizations, etc. I've also got some interest in learning more about those who are risking their liberty by engaging in nonviolent civil disobedience in the Free State.
