Not from USA? Free State Project welcomes you too!
"Liberty in Our Lifetime" certainly isn't a goal held only by individuals who happen to live in the land called the United States of America nor would it be in the spirit of a liberty movement to discriminate on nationality. FSP staff has been pretty forthcoming about the idea of encouraging people even outside of USA to join the Free State Project and move to New Hampshire as soon as possible. I am proud to say, I was not born in USA nor am I living in USA, but I joined the Free State Project and hope for an opportunity to move within the period pledged.
Meanwhile I have prepared a web site that would hopefully help international free staters like me, and 406 other international free staters more easily identify each other, form into groups, inform about possible events and gather tips on how to immigrate and ultimately adapt to the US and NH culture, climate and surroundings. The site is at FreeStatersInternational.com. Simultaneously, FSP staff have opened a forum dedicated to international participants on the Free State Project forum where we "foreigners" can discuss issues that are specific to our situation as would be immigrants.
If you found this web site and find the idea interesting but live somewhere outside of USA please don't be discouraged from signing up on that basis alone. With 407 other international free staters (accounting for 4.6% of all free staters) you sure would not be alone and there is now a way to support each other in this process. If you're just curious or aren't quite sure about it, please come to the international free staters forum and raise your questions or concerns.
Thank you.
