Dave Ridley, of the must-watch RidleyReport has interviewed several "early movers" (those who have moved to NH before the 20,000 participants have been recruited) in order to understand who they are, why they moved, what their experience in New Hampshire has been, and how they plan to be active. Mike Ruff and Jack Shimek help Monica unload her stuff. More people would have come to help, but Monica didn't alert people to her move soon enough. Typically there are at least a dozen Free Staters that show up for move-ins.

"Max" was a very early mover, and has finally settled in Seabrook. He rents out rooms in his house to freedom-lovers, and shows it on Porc Manor.
Max is the first to point out that while he is the official creator of the Next 1000 Pledge, he is not the originator of the idea. Some fellow porcupines were discussing it, and Max basically said "well, lets just do it", and so he did.
