What the Free State Project is... The Free State Project is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people's rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish themfor activities that interfere with no one else.

• Ron Paul’s New Hampshire campaign greatly benefited from supporters moving to New Hampshire en masse via the Free State Project [MSNBC]
• Ron Paul placed a strong second in the 2012 New Hampshire Republican Primary, scoring 23% and more votes than Gingrich, Santorum, Perry and 24 other candidates combined
• Ron Paul took first among voters under 40 years old, voters that made under $30,000 per year and several other groups, including both socially liberal voters and voters that wanted a true conservative
• 4.5% of the population voted for Ron Paul in NH, the next highest states were VT where 2.3% and SC where 1.7% of the population voted for Ron Paul
• Ron Paul took second in the NH Democratic Primary and at 59,000+ votes overall, received 17% more votes than Obama
• Ron Paul's very strong showing in the New Hampshire Primary gave Ron Paul a 70% boost in the South Carolina Primary polls and a 25% boost nationally
• 30 New Hampshire State Representatives endorsed Ron Paul, many of them Free State Project participants
• 3 State Senators and 3 newspapers endorsed Ron Paul
• Ron Paul dominated straw polls across New Hampshire including the New Hampshire Young Republicans Straw Poll, commanding 45% of votes

• Dr. Jason Sorens analyzed the New Hampshire Primary and found that Free Staters made a big impact. Just wait till the rest of them get here!
• New Hampshire was the leading per capita supporter of Paul's 2008 campaign at $17,337 per 100,000 residents in large donor contributions - a 31% higher clip than the second place state Wyoming at $13,241.
• On November 5th, the record-setting day when Ron Paul supporters donated $4.3 million, Ron Paul raised more money per capita in New Hampshire than in any other state

During the course of Ron Paul's campaign, we saw how much of a difference a few committed activists could make. The amount of Free State Project participants in New Hampshire doubled from 2008 to 2012, but the amount of votes Ron Paul received more than tripled.
