Enjoying Freedom in the Free State

Ron Paul endorses the FSP

A New Strategy for Liberty

What the Free State Project is... The Free State Project is an effort to recruit 20,000 liberty-loving people to move to New Hampshire. We are looking for neighborly, productive, tolerant folks from all walks of life, of all ages, creeds, and colors who agree to the political philosophy expressed in our Statement of Intent, that government exists at most to protect people's rights, and should neither provide for people nor punish themfor activities that interfere with no one else.

Please join our community of liberty activists working in beautiful New Hampshire to achieve Liberty in Your Lifetime!

Making a Difference - Today!

If this exploratory committee doesn't go well, maybe I ought to consider moving here [New Hampshire] and running (in) a statewide race

Discover for yourself how Free State Project participants are making a difference in New Hampshire, where Ron Paul got a higher percentage of the vote than in all but two primaries.

We have over 550 liberty activists in New Hampshire so far, bringing more freedom to America's freest state and having a lot of fun doing it by:
  • Building grassroots freedom movements like RonPaulHQ.com
  • Fighting and successfully killing Real ID in New Hampshire! (video here)
  • Getting elected (four already to the state house! and about 20 more to local offices)
  • Running more than 40 Ron Paul Republicans for the state house (as Ron Paul mentioned at the Ron Paul March in Washington DC)
  • Engaging in commerce with real money
  • Speaking to the legislature (while bearing arms!) and helping to write and pass legislation
  • Building without needing building permits
  • Challenging bureaucrats to snowball fights
  • Riding (by choice) without government mandated helmets and seat belts or even government-manded auto insurance

During the course of Ron Paul's campaign, we've seen how much of a difference a few committed activists can make. Imagine what thousands of us could do if we were all united together in America's freest state! We're already winning here in New Hampshire!

"Members of the libertarian Free State Project, which adopted New Hampshire in 2003, were (Ron) Paul's initial toehold in the first-primary state" -- Associated Press, November 6, 2007
