College Students
Are You a College Student?
Do you want to get the word out about the Free State Project?
We need you! Okay, not just you, lots of people. Our goal is to have a Free State Project college coordinator at every major college and university in the country. Our current college coordinators are:
| College Coordinators | |
| Sky Swett | Southern New England School of Law |
| Neal Conner | University of Florida, Gainesville |
| Rich Goldman | Baltimore, MD |
| Lauren Munoz | Dallas, TX |
| Rich Weiser | Lancaster, PA |
| Elizabeth Edwards | State University of New York (Brockport) |
Please help us let your campus colleagues know about all the benefits a free state will bring. Here are some things you can do...
-
Talk to people! Tell everyone you know about what we're doing. Put us in your email sig, on your door, wear a T-shirt, a hat, a thong. Okay, just kidding about the thong, we couldn't get our logo to fit.
-
Post flyers! We've got tons of designs, you can check them out and download them from our downloads page. If you come up with something on your own, send it to us so others can benefit from your creative genius. We also have a more formal brochure on our downloads page for meetings, etc.
-
Print and distribute stickers! Here are some templates you can download and copy onto label paper (pick up at an office supply place). Stick 'em up, hand 'em out, leave 'em in stacks!
-
Having a campus fair, political rally, etc.? We've got handouts — see our downloads page. Or make signs, hold 'em up, spread the word!
-
Volunteer! The FSP organization has a growing list of titled positions that need filling. As you might expect of libertarians, we are a decentralized organization, not about hierarchy and power, so we are always looking for opportunities to share the action. See the current openings!
-
Which brings us to the last point — whatever you need, whatever you think up, talk to us! We're excited to be in touch and really appreciate your efforts and enthusiasm.
If you'd like to help coordinate, or come up with new ideas to get the word out about the Free State Project on campuses everywhere, email us and join the team!
