Free State Now

What is Free State Now! and how are they related to the Free State Project?

Free State Now:

The mission of Free State Now! is to accomplish an outbound telephone calling campaign to recruit new participants for the Free State Project.  However, they are a separate organization from the Free State Project. They have their own organizational structure, described on their website, and their own finances.  Free State Now! was founded by Free State Project participants and the callers are all either participants or wholehearted supporters of the Free State Project.

The Free State Project:

You are currently on the website of the Free State Project.  This is the official home of the Free State Project and this website is controlled by Free State Project, Inc.

The Free State Project collects Statements Of Intent from people who are interested in participating in the Free State Project.  The Free State Project also provides information about the Free State Project itself and other information we believe might be of interest to people who are interested in the Free State Project.

Your personal information:

Free State Now! collects and retains information directly from the people they call.  The Free State Project does not control what Free State Now! does with that information and information provided to Free State Now! is not covered by the Free State Project's privacy policy.

Free State Now! does provide information to the Free State Project about those people who sign up for the Free State Project over the phone with Free State Now!.  The Free State Project, in turn, provides verification information about participants who signed up with Free State Now! to Free State Now!.  This exchange of information is limited to those people who signed up with Free State Now! and is for the purpose of allowing both organizations to measure their performance.

Participants who sign up directly with the Free State Project, and not over the phone with Free State Now!, are covered by our existing privacy policy.  Their information is not shared with Free State Now!.  If you are a Free State Project Participant and received a call from Free State Now!, it is because Free State Now! coincidentally received your information from another source, not from the Free State Project.

Verification of your Statement Of Intent:

All new Free State Project participants must verify their Statement Of Intent directly with the Free State Project.  If you signed up for the Free State Project over the phone with someone from Free State Now!, the Free State Project should receive the information you provided.  However, you still need to verify your Statement Of Intent with the Free State Project.  You should be receiving an email with a link to accomplish that verification.  It may take a few days to receive that email.  If you do not have an email address, you should receive a verification letter in the mail which may take longer to receive.  You will only be counted as a participant once the verification process is complete.

If you did not receive a verification email or letter and/or you are not certain your Statement Of Intent was recorded, please email Participant Services with your information.  If you have not yet signed up for the Free State Project but would like to, you may do so here.
