Libertopia Festival of Freedom

Libertopia is an annual festival of freedom, community and art for sovereign individuals. Its purpose is to create a worldwide movement of individuals who choose their own form of governance - a voluntary society based on mutual respect for each individual’s dignity and ownership of his/her own body and property. This is a movement that rejects the use of violence or coercion by one person or a group of people and focuses on the positive aspects of building a community of free and responsible individuals. The Libertopia annual festival is a unique experience -- a three-day gala packed with renowned speakers, banquets, parties, films, music, and social networking.

Preregistration for the three-day event begins at 6pm on Thursday, July 1, with a screening of the award winning film Star Trek: Of Gods and Men at 8pm and an informal reception immediately following. Friday, July 2 - Registration continues from 8am to 10am with the exhibitors' room open from noon to 6pm. General sessions begin at 10am. Breakout sessions are scheduled for the afternoon. Two Lifetime Achievement Awards are presented at the Awards Banquet at 7pm. Saturday, July 3 - Exhibitors' room is open from 10am to 7pm. General sessions begin at 9am. Breakout sessions and other activities are scheduled for the afternoon. Members share liberty-inspired art and music. A libertarian film is screened at 8pm. Sunday, July 4 - Exhibitors' room is open from 10am to 5pm. General sessions begin at 10am. Breakout sessions and other activities are scheduled for the afternoon. The dinner, dancing and fireworks cruise boards at 7pm for a five-hour cruise under the bridges and around the San Francisco Bay during the traditional fireworks displays over the bay.
