Register for PorcFest now for a chance at an ounce of silver!

If you register online before midnight on Tax Day, April 17th, one lucky VIP will have the choice between a 1oz FSP Silver Round or two 1/2 Legalize It! silver rounds. One Adult registrant will receive the silver the VIP does not opt for.

If a chance at an ounce of silver is not enough to get you to register right now, if the fact that the registration price will go up on May 1st is also not enough, then if you're planning to be a judge in the Liberty Ladies of NH One Pot Cookoff, don't delay in registering. Tickets to that are selling quick, and there will not be any left by the time you show up in Lancaster.

Thanks to all who have been registering early, particularly our generous Very Important Porcupines, we have been able to secure a number of speakers already. Among others, we will be welcoming returning guests Bob Murphy and Dan D'Amico, as well as new guest Benjamin Powell.

More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks. The more folks register early, the more extensively we can plan stimulating programming for you.

New Hampshire Accolades

NH has the lowest teen birth rate in the country, again. In fact, the NH rate is less than half the national average. NH was ranked the 2nd healthiest state in the US. NH was ranked 3rd for highest percentage of college educated adults.

Pro-Liberty Votes in the New Hampshire House

Many pro-liberty bills recently passed in the NH House. The bills include marijuana decriminalization, a legalized hemp bill, a NH Constitutional amendment to prohibit the creation of a personal income tax, a NH Constitutional amendment to prohibit the creation or increase of any tax or fee without a 3/5 vote in favor in both the NH House and NH Senate, a NH Constitutional amendment reining in judicial rulemaking authority, a NH House resolution affirming state power, a NH House resolution urging the the federal government to reduce the federal deficit, a NH House resolution urging the federal government to allow the cultivation of hemp for industrial purposes and many more.

The FSP Message is Traveling

FSP Particpant Mike Finger gave a presentation about the FSP at the Tenth Amendment Center's Nullify Now Conference and on the Tenth Amendment Center radio show in Philadelphia, PA on 3/31/12. On 4/22/12 a couple recent NH movers will run a FSP table at a Ron Paul rally in Philadelphia, PA. On 4/28/12 Carla Gericke, the FSP President, will speak at a pro-liberty musical and speaking event in Worcester, MA.

Becky Anderson is moving from Los Angeles to Manchester in June and doing her best to document the more practical aspects of planning and making a long-distance move for the FSP.

Do you live near Las Vegas? Gonna be there for business or vacation the first weekend of May? Want to meet fellow Free Staters? If so, you can help with FSP outreach at the Libertarian Party national convention, May 2-6 at the Red Rock resort (http://www.libertywillwin.com). We're setting up a breakout session (possibly two) during the convention for people to ask questions, get the latest news, and talk to NH natives and those who've made the move and are creating Liberty in their lifetime. We'll also be promoting PorcFest, which is just 6 weeks after the convention. The FSP has always been a huge topic of interest, and with our growing numbers and successes, it's sure to be again. The Free State Project (FSP) is an effort to recruit 20,000 pro-liberty activists to move to New Hampshire, where they will exert the fullest practical effort toward the creation of a society in which the maximum role of government is the protection of life, liberty and property. The work of creating and sustaining such a society in New Hampshire is the job of residents, including project participants, not the Free State Project itself.

The FSP does not endorse any specific changes to government or strategies to achieve them. The FSP does not take positions on issues, candidates, legislation, places to move within New Hampshire, tactics or methods of action. The one stipulation the FSP does make is that people who promote violence, racial hatred, or bigotry are not welcome.
