The growing popularity of the bitcoin seems (to me at least) like we are taking a step closer to a universal currency for a global economy. I find that to be very alarming. True freedom can only be found when we choose to live our lives independently from the financial systems in place on this planet. You can change the names and the shapes of the currency as much as you want but it all still stands for the same thing.

Bitcoin has fallen from nearly $1200 to as low as $600 USD in the last 24 hours. It appears that the Chinese government’s ruling may have something to do with the loss. Bitcoin Mason
