Free State Project participants come from many backgrounds and each has a unique story. Two participants have recently written on their blog why they signed up and are looking forward to moving to New Hampshire. Check them out

New Hampshire recently experienced a strong snow storm which left many without electricity and heat.
David Ridley reports how the "Liberty network" responded by offering housing to those without heat and power.
The Free State Project had a table in the
"Liberty Row" at the annual
Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington, DC. We collected nearly 200 email addresses, had over $200 in
merchandise sales, distributed hundreds of bookmarks, half-sheets,
101 Reasons, and
FAQ materials, were interviewed by the Independent Film Channel and a Spanish paper, and were
mentioned on the Rachel Maddow show. Many thanks to the
mid-Atlantic FSP local group for staffing the table.
If there is a conference where you think the FSP should have a presence, please email us the details at
info@freestateproject.org. We can help with people, funding, and materials.
The Free State Project website is being updated with a revised look-and-feel and behind the scenes improvements. If you have feedback, e.g. problems, compliments, questions, please let us know
by email or
on our forum.
MSNBC "Morning Joe" host Joe Scarborough, in an interview with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, asks "What's New Hampshire doing right?" Find out

The Liberty Caravan is a 12 day cross country road trip of friends and Free State Project members making the big move, or just traveling to New Hampshire in time for the FSP's
2010 Liberty Forum. The caravan rolls out on March 6, 2010 from San Jose, CA and will arrive in Nashua, NH on the evening of March 17th. Potential Movers, Liberty Forum attendees, and fellow supporters of freedom are welcome to come along for the ride. Contact information, itinerary, and other details are available on
their site.
Over on
our discussion forum, "kyfornow" has
posted an article about his trip in early January to visit Keene, NH. If you ever want to visit New Hampshire, let us know on our
Visit NH page so we can help you make the best use of your time.
The rapid messaging system
Porcupine 411 used by Free State Project participants
has been covered in The Concord Monitor newspaper. This is one of many ways participants are building the pro-liberty community that will achieve "Liberty in our Lifetime."

One of the many ways Free State Project participants choose to be active is reviewing upcoming legislation with the
New Hampshire Liberty Alliance. For each bill, reviewers answer questions such as: is it constitutional?, does it expand the size, cost, and power of government?, and what will be the unintended consequences? This information is used to recommend to elected officials how to vote on liberty-relevant legislation and to focus NHLA activist resources for or against legislation.
Review sessions can occur as social gatherings at restaurants as pictured below, but can be done anywhere via the internet. For more information on the NHLA's Bill Review System,
