FSP Operations Report 3/13/04
- Introduced the Ask the Leadership forum
- Introduced the Activist Center forum
- Set up conference calling services & began biweekly staff meetings
- Created organization chart, job descriptions
- Began transitioning finances to new Treasurer
- New Publicity Director (Seth Atwood), transition in progress, mostly complete
- New Director of Member Services (Tim Condon), transition complete
- New Quill Editor (Neil Alexander), transition complete?
- New Booth Materials and Special Projects Coordinator (Brian Sullivan),
transition complete
- Formed the core Development Team (Varrin Swearingen, Alan Weiss, Keith
Murphy, Seth Atwood, Amanda Phillips)
- Began search for Director of Development, created initial fundraising
plan/outline
- Created draft budget, with input from departments, almost ready for BoD
review
- Started working on no-vote response tracking (Non-voters have responded
verbally, via snail mail, via e-mail, and have also updated their
membership info online.)
- Began organizing the media tree, established iSendit account
- Represented the FSP at the Winter Escape, interviewed with Reason Mag
- Chronicle news journal piece
- Established local NH groups & group leaders, started regular meetings
- Established a ton of new local
groups across the nation
- Recruited lots of new community
