1. Irena’s Vacant Board seat

It was agreed that Rich Goldman would chair the meeting. The Board voted 6-0 to offer the Board seat vacated by Irena Goddard to Chris Lawless, and then to Jody Underwood if he declines.

2. Liberty Forum 2011

Varrin will soon meet with Rich Tomasso to discuss Liberty Forum preparations. Both have been busy recently. Rich Tomasso hopes to select a keynote speaker by the end of October.

3. Deletion of FSP Facebook page

Louis Calitz will look into securing all FSP intellectual property. Varrin will launch an effort to define a statement on FSP representation.

4. FSP Magazine

Creation of the FSP magazine has been delayed, and it will not be ready in 2010. Responsibilities need to be clarified, and the outline redefined.

5. O&D Insurance

Options for event and O&D insurance will be discussed again at the next Board meeting.

6. Libertopia Documentary

The Libertopia documentary trailer is already generating interest. It will be suggested to Rich Tomasso that Libertopia present at Liberty Forum.

7. Facebook Marketing

Seth may be interested in restarting Facebook ads. Budget should be allocated in advance in blocks. Board members expressed interest in establishing metrics, e.g. tracking conversions.

8. Direct Mail

The Board voted 6-0 in favor of a $5000 budget for a roughly 5000-piece direct mail campaign in November to promote the FSP and the Liberty Forum. Creation of an updated FSP tri-fold brochure is thus a priority.
